Thankful/Not Thankful #1.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving week, every day I will list something for which I am thankful. In the spirit of this blog, I will also list something that pisses me off.
On Thanksgiving Day, all over America, families sit down to dinner at the same moment - halftime. ~Author Unknown
I am thankful for football on Thanksgiving. I love it. I love the anticipation and the tradition of watching the Lions and the Cowboys, even though these teams aren't my team (Go Vikes!).

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." - Albert Einstein
Yesterday I had the pleasure of interacting with a gentleman (and I use that term loosely) on the road. Actually, to make this easier (and more fun), let's just call him D-Bag. He cut me off twice, just weaving in and out of lanes while he drove, and proceeded to dig around in his back seat for something while he was driving. Finally, we ended up in a two-lane turn lane. He was in the left part of the lane, me in the right. He, of course, decided that he wanted to be in the right lane so started moving over and nearly hit me. I didn't think he saw me (who could be that stupid??) and gave my horn a quick beep. Well, this displeased D-Bag and he flicked me off (you know, because it's MY fault that he couldn't decide what lane to be in and cut me off). I was a good girl and ignored this little one-fingered wave. Then, when it was his turn to make the left turn at the light, he STOPPED and waited until the last second of the yellow light, then took off, thereby stranding me at the light. As he was making his turn, he looked back at me out of his window with a large douchey grin on his face and waved at me.
I did have the opportunity to see D-Bag again as I finally made it through the light and turned into the parking lot of Lowes. He was headed out of the parking lot, saw me, grinned again, and was met with MY one-fingered wave. Which reminds me...
I'm also thankful for my middle finger. There...you get TWO Thankfuls from me in one day. I'm feeling so generous!
Peace, Love, and Pumpkin Pie.
