All Moved In!

A couple weeks ago, the cabin was finished enough for us to move in all the furniture and other items. The electrician, plumber, and main contractor still had a little bit of work to do and the back yard still needs the final grade (that should be happening today), but all-in-all, IT'S DONE.

Of course we still need to seed, put on a deck, and finish off the basement, but that's nothin', right?

So anyway, I thought I'd share a few pics of the new digs. I'll be heading up this weekend to help my mom with more cleaning (how much does a new place need to be cleaned, you ask? If you know my mom, you know that the cleaning will never cease). (We refer to her as the "White Tornado"). (It's unreal. She used a three step method to clean the kitchen cabinets the other weekend: Mr. Clean, some other cleaner, and then sanitizer.) (Yes, I'm in hell.) (Mental note: pack lots of alcohol for this weekend).

Wow!!! It looks great!!!!!! I am very very impressed by the backbreading that must have gone into that retaining wall and the fireplace. Clapping of hands for you and your family.

I can't wait to see pictures in the summer!!

That was supposed to say "backbreaKing," not "backbreaDing." Sorry about that.
